The DC-A series of digital DC sparkers are capable of experimenting with a spark machine where custom fault sensors are required, providing 1KV, 10KV, and 20KV modes. The device can provide a DC test voltage for high voltage input electrodes through a 200-foot connection cable. DC-10A can provide low test voltage from 50V-1KV. DC-10A and 20A can limit the current to protect the operator. When the safety shield is opened, the safety interlock removes the high voltage from the fault sensor.
The membrane switch on the display panel allows the operator to configure multiple spark machine test modes and to set the time to trigger the process control relay when defects are found. Standard RS-485 serial interface can accept and respond to digital commands, can set or verify spark test voltage, can detect fault counts and chain status, and can be through the computer and PLC for other testing.
DC-A can meet the safety requirements of IEC-1010 and is certified by CE.
